Pretty In Pink

. . and purple and green.

My Buddy Bags in progress.

The gorgeous lariat with matching earrings that I won on Superstarra's blog!

Aren't they just so pretty and girlie :-) I apologize for the lovely yellow tint in the first picture, but the lighting isn't so great at this hour so the kitchen was the "studio" for this shoot. Oh, and you see that dangling pendant, it's actually stitch markers! Knitting accessories as jewelry, sheer genius I tell you! Pretty and functional. It doesn't get much better than this folks.
The lariat and earrings were handmade by Craftlilly and you should absolutely check out her Etsy shop for other great jewelry and craftiness.

On the knitting front I'm about to finish up the bags for my nieces and continue working on the Lace Cardi. I'm not allowing myself to cast on for any new projects until I finish that cardigan. Hmm, that might be a while. Actually, I've FINALLY reached the neck shaping for the back piece and I"ll be starting on the front sections soon. The poor thing is gonna need some serious washing once it's all said and done. I've been dragging it around and then it just sits all alone collecting dust and hair from these culprits.

Alright, that's all I have for now. My eyes are glazing over and I have got to get some sleep. This grandma is up past her bedtime!
