How 'bout some craftin'!

Ok, so I do actually still do some crafty things around here, ya know of the non-edible kind. For example, take these lovely and oh too cute wallets from Bend the Rules Sewing by Amy Karol.


I actually made these No Cash wallets months ago, but just never got around to posting about them. They were a simply project that was totally easy enough for a beginner like moi! Straight lines baby :-)


For the top wallet I used up some fabric from my first sewing project which was a laptop cover (which I've never blogged about). The floral print is Amy Butler and I'm not sure about the shell pattern fabric. I definitely don't know who the designer is for the second set of fabrics. I just remember I bought it when I took a sewing class. Sorry! I'll be better about that.

I really liked the pattern and the books has some other great things that I'd love to try out. Now I just need to buy the book!
